This small, lovely jug is handmade in a pottery workshop located outside Kathmandu, Nepal. The workshop is run by three brothers, all of whom have been trained by their father. They mostly work with stoneware clay and throw all objects by hand.

A World of Craft collaborates with local artisans to highlight the craftsmanship of developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The idea is to use design as a tool to develop and market traditional crafts and thereby help to create jobs in the regions where the craft is currently the main source of income.
