Back in 2005, Steve Nicholls set out with a simple yet powerful idea: to create the world’s finest organic seaweed growth enhancer to replace unsustainable, harmful chemical fertiliser alternatives that were damaging our beautiful planet. Steve was dedicated to offering gardeners, farmers, and plant lovers a natural solution that nourishes both plants and our planet.
Steve’s journey led him to the pristine waters off the West Coast of Ireland, where he discovered the incredible power of Ascophyllum Nodosum. This nutrient-packed seaweed became the heart of our Organic Growth Enhancer and The Shropshire Seaweed Company was born.
