Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave met at university, where they were both studying graphic design and illustration. After graduating, Lotta worked on the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter (“Today’s News”) and Bengt at an advertising agency, but they found that something was lacking. Their new life began the day Bengt designed a cow that was manufactured into an iron candlestick. The cow was followed by a sheep, then a horse, then a moose. The moose is still in production and the motif has now spread across the world in the form of fabrics, woven blankets and stationery.
