Former animator and designer Lisa Lloyd fuses traditional paper craft techniques and digital technology to create colourful, mixed media compositions. She cuts intricate shapes by hand, photographs them and mixes the 3d shapes with 2d elements using Photoshop and Illustrator.
The result is a textured, layered image that is digitally enhanced to create a contemporary piece of craft. The vibrancy of the layered, coloured paper works perfectly with the arrangements possible with digital manipulation.
From paper prawns to a giant blue tit created for Waitrose Weekend magazine, the results of Lisa's technique is simply stunning.
