Kasper Würtz

Based in Denmark, KHwurtz still use the traditional techniques and all of their ceramic creations are thrown and glazed by hand. Although they follow tradition, each piece exhibits a particular, signature characteristic, such as an assured inner-outer ratio, a subtle concavity even in flat plates, unexpected rims and flecked and mottled surface effects.

KHwurtz is often the first choice for high end restaurants including the world famous Noma in Copenhagen. Not only are these ceramics beautiful to behold they are a pleasure to handle and may explain why they have become the chefs' choice.
