Fredun Shapur

Like Bruno Munari or Charles Eames, his wide-ranging work includes a particularly daring and original contribution to the world of children.

Between the 1960s and 1980s, Shapur designed toys for numerous manufacturers in Switzerland, UK, but he is best known for transforming American company, Creative Playthings’ logo, packaging and products. Fredun Shapur was also a part-time lecturer at St Martin’s School of Art and London College of Communication and a fellow of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers.
